Whistleblowing

BALTA has an internal whistleblowing system in place to ensure the safe reporting of potential violations and to ensure that whistleblowers are properly protected.

Whistleblowing means providing information in good faith about a possible violation, criminal offence or breach of Latvian law or binding ethical or professional standards that may be detrimental to the public interest.

A report of a personal interest (an act where the main motive is a personal grievance, personal disagreement or personal gain, including material gain) is not whistleblowing.
