- a boat approaches the pier too quickly, collides violently with it, which results in a hole in the polymer hull, letting water in. The damage causes the boat to sink, also damaging its equipment.

We cover expenses incurred as a result of the theft or hijacking of recreational watercraft, for example:
- thieves break into a fenced-off area at a house and steal a boat parked on a trailer;
- the theft of an outboard motor from a motorboat.

Fire or explosion onboard a recreational watercraft
We cover damage caused by fire or explosion, for example:
- a short circuit in electrical wiring causes a fire in a recreational watercraft, causing it to burn down;
- a fire breaks out in a building where a recreational watercraft is stored, resulting in the watercraft burning down.
