Please keep in mind!
As of July 1, 2025, a new regulation requires electric scooters to have MTPL insurance.
If you cause an accident without a valid MTPL policy, you will have to pay for all the damage yourself, so keep track of the expiry date of your MTPL policy using the app or the Latvian Motor Insurer’s Bureau (LTAB) website.
