We will cover damages resulting from your car colliding with an animal or bird.
For example, if a deer runs onto the road while you are driving, causes a collision, and your car is damaged, we will compensate for the damages.
We will cover damages caused to your car by hail.
For example, if hail damages the car body, we will compensate for its repair or replacement.
We will cover damages if only the front windscreen is damaged during an accident or by collision with an object.
For example, if a stone hits the windscreen while driving and breaks it, we will cover the repair or replacement of the windscreen.
We will cover damages if, after a traffic accident or natural disaster, repairing the car is technically impossible or unsafe, or if the estimated repair costs exceed 80 % of the car’s market value, or if the repair is not economically justified.
For example, if a severe traffic accident irreversibly damages the car’s structure, we will compensate for the damages as a total loss of the vehicle.

Yes, Start MOD is valid even if the car is driven by another person.
The waiting period is the time frame specified in the insurance contract. During this period, we do not cover damages caused by natural disasters – storm, flood, lightning, hail, earthquake, avalanche, or landslide.
For example, if the insurance contract is signed on June 1 and the waiting period is 7 days, damages caused by natural disasters will be covered only if they occur on June 8 or later.
No, additional risks cannot be added during the policy period. However, a separate Start MOD policy with the selected risk can be purchased at any time.
Yes, Start MOD can be purchased either together with an MTPL policy or at any time as a separate insurance policy.
The deductible is applied for each insurance claim. It is expressed in monetary terms and specified in the policy.
The deductible is not applied if:
- only the windscreen is damaged and it is repaired;
- the car was parked in a garage or under a covered parking area, but still suffered hail damage.
We make a decision on the insurance payout or rejection within 7 working days after receiving all required documents. Fast-track processing, within 1 working day, if:
- the claim amount does not exceed 1 500 euros and the repair is carried out at one of our partner car repair services;
- all necessary documents are submitted together with the claim.
