Frequently asked questions

The price of a specialised equipment insurance policy depends on the value of the equipment, the type of use and the deductible chosen. Contact our specialists for a tailor-made insurance quote.

The price of the insurance policy can be reduced if:

  • you do not use the equipment all year round – choose the four-risk coverage* for the period when the equipment is not in use, you do not move the equipment and the equipment is switched off,
  • you do not consider the equipment to be at risk of spontaneous combustion,
  •  you do not plan to use the equipment in road traffic or transport it.

* Fire, natural disasters, liquid or steam leakage and third-party malicious action.

Store the equipment:

  • in a locked room or
  • in a fenced, guarded area which is physically guarded or equipped with an intruder alarm with a connection to a 24-hour security company’s control panel.

You may also keep agricultural and logging equipment outside working hours in the backyard of a farmhouse, in an area that is easily visible from the house, provided that the occupants of the house are present.
However, if the equipment is equipped with a navigation system, it must be removed and stored indoors outside working hours, or if not removed, the equipment itself must be stored indoors.

Yes, our standard insurance policy also covers sudden, unexpected physical damage to tyres, for example, if a tyre is punctured by hitting a foreign object in the field.
